How does the system work? The SERIES 7 Battery system is a universal Battery mount system, allowing one SL-50 7.2v Battery pack to power any DV/HDV camera on the market. The SERIES 7 model specific adapter plate locks into the battery compartment on your camera, converting the existing mount to a SERIES 7 mount. The SL-50 attaches to the mount and powers your camera. How long will the SL-50 run my camera? Based on your camera model runtime may vary. However all users experience significant runtime increases when using the SL-50 and S7 Battery system. For exact runtime please contact us. What is the charge time of an SL-50? The BCL-1 will charge an SL-50 Battery in 2 hours. Can I charge the SL-50 on my own charger? No. The SL-50 Requires the BCL-1 to properly charge the battery. Will the BCL-1 charge any other batteries? The BCL-1 will only charge the SL-50 battery. However the BCL-1S will charge Sony L-Series batteries and the BCL-1P will charge Panasonic CGR series batteries. How do I know what adapter I need for my camera?
